At church, in the children's class (called Primary), our children recite one of our articles of faith (a statement of what we believe). So, every night as part of our bedtime routine our family recites that same article of faith so that our children can learn them. Tonight as we were reciting the article for next Sunday Eliza decided to be a little funny. Here's what the article is supposed to be:
"We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law."
Instead of reciting that, Eliza said, "We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying THE MAN!"
Jon and I just chuckled, then Jon said, "Yep, I'm 'THE MAN!'"
