Cleaning House

There's nothing quite like having a friend stop by to drop something off ... only to have them ask to use my bathroom, then have to walk through my cluttered and messy house to get there.  Let's just say that seeing my house through someone else's eyes really gets me into the cleaning mode.  First thing I did after my friend left?  Wipe down the toilet seat.  Yuck!  So embarrassing.

Dressing Your Truth

Okay, so I haven't posted anything about this because I've been told it is silly ... which initially made me think that the person who said that thinks that I am silly for being a part of this program.  However, I've weighed that against how different I feel about myself and I've decided that this program has helped me have so much more confidence.  And, I think that if it helps me, it might be beneficial for any of my other friends. So .... let me tell you about my Dressing Your Truth experience. Moving Forward: Reading

This is a most depressing blog post to check in on my goals.  First of all, we are in the middle of March, and I still haven't finished reading Jane Eyre.  In fact, I'm not even close!  I haven't been very good about staying with our old schedule when I would get to read for 30 minutes everyday during our independent reading time.  So, I've had a hard time finding the time to read something that requires more prowess to read (as opposed to form fiction). Anyway, I also haven't been very good with many of my other goals.  Except for exercising ... I have been consistently exercising at least 3 days a week.  Not a lot, but at the end of every week I look back and realize that I made my goal of at least three workouts, and I don't feel so terrible about myself. So, this post is just a reminder to continue to move forward and work on at least one goal a week.  This week?  It will be to read Jane Eyre.  :-)
