For the last little while I've been struggling to find anything this little one will eat. Even foods that she normal likes and used to eat all the time she now turns away with a push and shake of her head. It's a huge guessing game right now. Although, she has stopped screaming, ever since she started pointing and signing.
When she is hungry or thirsty she points at her mouth (her modification of the sign "drink"). This morning she woke up pointing at her mouth. I got her dressed then took her into the kitchen and she proceeded to point at things in the pantry. When I'd take out what I thought she was pointing at she'd shake her head and push it away. I tried everything that she's liked before (graham crackers, oyster crackers, cheerios, cap'n crunch [I know, we're so healthy here], yogurt, her cup of milk), and she just kept pointing. Finally, I remembered that there was a time when I was eating "my" cereal and ended up feeding her the last little bit of it. She liked it that one time, and I'd forgotten to offer it to her again.
So, I took out the box of Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. She pointed at it again. (Don't ask me how she remembers what's in which box when she's only had it once; it's pretty amazing though.) I poured some into a bowl and started to feed her. Instantly she was satisfied with the choice and wanted more. Placing her in her chair proved to be difficult as she has been wanting to sit on my lap all the time. But, she let me eventually ... as long as she understood she'd get her cereal. Maybe she'll end up like her aunt Kristina ... liking more adult foods (like Chinese) from the very beginning.

Good luck with the move and getting settled in.
