Tonight for Adam's night he wanted to play "Red Light, Green Light." Well, that's a little hard to play with only two people (Jon was on the phone). So, Adam stood in front of the stairs a little ways off and I was the light. I'd say "green light" and he would start walking slowly, then stop before I said "red light." So, I started telling him that he need to run really fast when I said "green light." Then, he started hopping and said that he was supposed to hop when I say "blue light." So, I asked him what he's supposed to do for "yellow light," and "orange light," etc. Here's what he came up with:
Red = stop
Yellow = slow
Blue = hop
Green = run really fast
Orange = zig zag hopping
Purple = backwards walking
The coolest part was when I would switch from one color to the next and he would immediate start doing the different movement! And, when he would start to get close I couldn't remember to say "red light." All I could say was "STOP!" It was so fun, and he is so creative. It was the best game of "red light, green light, yellow light, orange light, blue light, and purple light."
