Eliza and Kate have really enjoyed school so far. I've been a little bothered by our new bus stop, though. The bus company totally eliminated all the bus stops in our neighborhood except for three because of fuel prices. Which means that our old bus stop that was just four houses away down at the corner is gone. Now we have to walk around the corner to the cul-de-sac ... the one that I can't see from my house. That would be okay if my children were in fifth grade, maybe. But, they are not. Anyway, it's been a little hard trying to get out the door early enough to get to the bus stop. Before I could watch for the bus to get to the bus stop two stops before ours, then I'd send Eliza down to the bus stop and I could watch her walk all the way. Now, I have to just guess when the bus will be there (the bus never runs on schedule the first couple weeks of school) and hope that we've left the house with enough time to walk over there.
I'm less than thrilled about the whole bus stop thing, but it could be worse. At least they've fixed the traffic problem at the school so that dropping off students is a lot more efficient and easy than it has been in the past.
Today Andrew didn't want to go to school because he was fighting with Adam. I finally got him dressed and then he didn't want to take his backpack because it was too big. Then, he was afraid he didn't have everything he needed in it. But, when we got to the school he found his locker right away, dropped off his backpack and walked right in. Didn't even care to tell me good-bye. When did my children start growing up so quickly? Granted, Tres has never been one to have separation anxiety; but, I just never realized how old he really is. Really a bittersweet moment this morning.

I'm excited to try your bread recipe. I can never get bread to work, the yeast and I don't get along, but I'm going to try this one, see how it works! I'll keep you posted.
